Sustainability Series presented by AIA New Orleans at the Center for Design on Thursday, February 23 – LEED for Less: Applying a Whole Systems Approach.
Systems Thinking and Integrated Design Process are tools that are built into the LEED process. When effectively applied, they result in project cost and resource efficiencies, as well as stimulate innovative solutions that can have positive impacts well beyond the physical boundaries of a project. This event will explore the relationship between projects and the regions in which they are located, and how exploring the implications of this relationship on the built environment can lead to meaningful and low cost project features and design strategies.
