Riverview Housing is located in the Riverview neighborhood of Algiers. Eventually there will be approximately 100 homes for sale to low and moderate-income Pre-Katrina Gulf Coast residents. FutureProof was hired by MCC Group as sustainable consultants and are working closely with the LEED for Homes provider to achieve LEED Silver on the first three homes. A few of the sustainable features include: a small building footprint; outstanding community resources; very high-efficient water fixtures; 30% energy reduction; environmentally preferable products and enhanced combustion venting.
